Oklahoma UAS - A Way Ahead

Vision: Within two years, establish the state of Oklahoma as a leader in the Research, Development, Test, Evaluation and Commercialization (RDTE&C) of Unmanned Aerial Systems.

Mission: Formally recognize, market and fund UAS centric businesses, infrastructures and resources to rapidly advance UAS related flight and laboratory RDTE&C programs which facilitate the creation of a statewide UAS industry base.

The field of Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) is an emerging aerospace focus that includes Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs), Micro Air Vehicles (MAVs) and Nano Air Vehicles (NAVs).  The growing UAS industry offers significant opportunities to diversify the Oklahoma aerospace industry and grow the Oklahoma workforce. 
 
The Oklahoma UAS Summit will offer an opportunity for Oklahoma industry, state government and university researchers to meet and explore this fascinating industry opportunity.
