Champion Program
Vision - Make Oklahoma "The State of Choice for Business"
Purpose - Position Oklahoma in the "Top 10" states in every business ranking.
Implementation - To meet the vision and purpose of the Champion Program, The State Chamber will pursue these eight initiatives:

Initiative One:
"Top 10" Business Tax Climate State
Advocate for tax policies that encourage business growth and economic development.

Initiative Two:
Turn the Tide on Abuse: Lawsuit and Workers' Compensation Reform
Raise Oklahoma to the "Top 10" states for business climate in relation to workers' comp and frivolous lawsuits.

Initiative Three:
Oklahoma Innovation - Forging New Business Frontiers
Promote an entrepreneurial environment where emerging technologies thrive.  Expand upon the Oklahoma Nanotechnology Initiative.

Initiative Four:
The 21st Century Foundation - Research and Wisdom to Grow By
Grow the State Chamber of Oklahoma's foundation to be able to conduct timely, in-depth studies, reports and recommendations addressing key policy issues.

Initiative Five:
Arm The State Chamber of Oklahoma - "THE" Fighting Force for Business
Ensure business buy-in, financial and volunteer resources to maintain our reputation as "America's Best State Chamber for Business".

Initiative Six:
"Brain Gain - Not Drain"
The business community must make education an economic and legislative priority.

Initiative Seven:
"Build the Workforce of the Future"
Advocate for workforce development reforms, higher education and careertech advances and strong incentives for worker training and recruitment.

Initiative Eight:
Close the Health Care Gap
Implement meaningful healthcare changes to improve affordability and accessibility of healthcare for all Oklahomans.
