The State Chamber of Oklahoma, in conjunction with the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, the National Chamber Foundation and American Free Enterprise, is hosting Gov. Mary Fallin’s Economic Roundtable Wednesday, December 7, at the Oklahoma City Marriott as part of our annual Public Affairs Forum.
The event will feature our annual legislative leader panel talking about issues lawmakers will face during the upcoming session. Following that panel, Gov. Mary Fallin will hold an economic roundtable with some of Oklahoma’s top business leaders discussing our state’s economy, job creation and economic development. The roundtable, which will be moderated by Margaret Spellings, Executive Vice President of the National Chamber Foundation, will be an event you will not want to miss!
The U.S. Chamber and the National Chamber Foundation have commissioned a study called “Enterprising States: Creating Jobs, Economic Development and Prosperity in Challenging Times.” Similar roundtable events have been held in numerous states, including Virginia, Indiana and Tennessee, all to great success. The researchers are compiling an Oklahoma Profile based on this study that will be released on Dec. 7 for use in the roundtable discussion.
