Fred Morgan, Bio Information

Fred Morgan has served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of The State Chamber of Oklahoma since 2010. Prior to joining the Chamber, Fred worked for the Oklahoma Senate President Pro Tempore and in 2006 helped broker an historic power-sharing agreement between the Republicans and Democrats, who were tied 24-24. He subsequently served as General Counsel and Senior Policy Advisor to the first Republican-led Senate in state history in 2008.

In 1994, he was elected to the Oklahoma House of Representatives. Fred served in the House until 2006, rising through the ranks to become Minority Leader and chairman of the Judiciary Committee. He was consistently recognized as one of the most pro-business legislators during his service.

He has also managed a commercial law firm in Oklahoma City and served as the president of a small business, employing 40 people.

Fred has served as president of the Oklahoma City Rotary Club and is a graduate of both Leadership Oklahoma City and Leadership Oklahoma. He currently serves on the board of the Oklahoma Business Roundtable, Oklahoma Heritage Association, i2E and Oklahoma Chamber of Commerce Executives. He is also a member of the U.S. Chamber's Committee of 100.
