John Bennett

Republican John Bennett, HD 2, spent 14 years in the U.S. Marines.  He returned to Oklahoma where he worked for the Sheriff's Department.  Rep. Bennett was part of the drug task force and headed up the region's efforts to combat illegal immigration. After the Sheriff's Dept, Rep. David Brumbaugh

Republican David Brumbaugh, HD 76, is president and owner of DRB Industries, LLC. He is also a Tulsa City-County Library Commissioner and serves on the Legislative & Public Affairs and the Transportation  Infrastructure & Communications Committees for the Broken Arrow Chamber of Commerce.  Rep. Brumbaugh is listed in Strathmore's Who's Who of Outstanding Business Executives in America, and is  a widely known lecturer and published author in the electric power industry.  Rep. Dennis Casey

Republican Dennis Casey, HD 35, earned a degree in education from Northeastern Oklahoma State University.  For nearly three decades, Rep. Casey served as a coach, teacher and administrator at the high school level.  Rep. Casey now runs a small cow-calf operation and spends his summer putting up hay.  Rep. Josh Cockroft


Republican Josh Cockroft, HD 27, is one of two 21-year-old members elected to the House of Representatives this year.  Rep. Cockroft has served with the Young Republicans and worked with high school students throughout Oklahoma and the United States as a member of TeenPact Leadership Schools. Rep. Donnie Condit


Democrat Donnie Condit, HD 18, is a McAlester city councilor and an assistant principal at Puterbaugh Middle School.  He has been married to Karen for over 30 years and they raised three children.  He has over 30 years of experience with McAlester Public Schools, including 11 years as a school administrator.  He has also served on the McAlester Public Schools Staff Development Committee. Randy Grau

Republican Randy Grau, HD 81, graduated from high school with honors as valedictorian and senior class president.  He then attended Pepperdine University in Malibu, CA on a full scholarship, where he graduated magna cum laude and helped found a service fraternity.  After college, Rep. Grau returned home and received his law degree with honors from the University of Oklahoma.  Rep. Tommy Hardin

Republican Tommy Hardin, HD 49, is a retired air traffic controller with 25 years of civil service who also served six years in the Marine Corps Reserves. Rep. Hardin has been married to wife Carol for 25 years and they have two sons.  Currently, Rep. Democrat James Lockhart, HD 3, is a farmer-rancher in Heavener, Oklahoma.  Rep. Lockhart has a degree in Business Management, an Associates of Science in Biology and Zoology, and is currently studying for another degree at University of Tulsa.  He served as a team leader for the World Trade Center Recovery Effort in 2001 and in 2002.  He is married to Carrie and they have two children.  Rep. Republican Glen Mulready, HD 68, is a 26-year veteran of the insurance industry.  Rep. Republican Tom Newell, HD 28, teaches courses in economics, business management and personal finances at Seminole State College, helps youth through his service in FFA, and raises horses at his home near Seminole.  He also serves as the senior pastor of Heartland Family Church in Seminole. Dustin RobertsRepublican Dustin Roberts, HD 21, enlisted in the U.S. Navy in 2003 and over his five-year military career, was the recipient of two Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medals for his efforts in the Horn of Africa situation and again in Operation Iraqi Freedom.  In 2004, Rep. Roberts was honored as the Blue Jacket of the Year.  He was promoted to 3rd Class Petty Officer and later awarded Junior Sailor of the Year.  Today, Rep. Roberts is pursuing a degree in education at Southeastern Oklahoma State University and is a partner in his family's business, All Star Beverages.  Rep. Emily Virgin
Democrat Emily Virgin, HD 44, is a lifelong Norman resident and honors graduate of the University of Oklahoma. Rep. Virgin is and has been a volunteer for many Norman service organizations, including Thunderbird Clubhouse which provides free services to adults with mental health needs, the Access to Justice Organization where she worked with abused mothers and children, Food and Shelter for Friends, and her church where she is a third grade Sunday School teacher.  She graduated Magna Cum Laude from OU with a degree in Political Science and a minor in criminology.  She is employed as a law clerk for a Norman law firm.
