The State Chamber praises Legislature for passing workers’ compensation bills
Senate Bill 1973, and House Bills 1611, 2650 and 2652 sent to the governor
OKLAHOMA CITY – The following statement is from Mike Seney, senior vice president of operations at The State Chamber of Oklahoma. It is in regard to the passage of four workers’ compensation reform bills which were sent to Gov. Brad Henry for his signature.
“The State Chamber is pleased to see this package move forward to the governor. Workers’ compensation costs in Oklahoma are among the highest in the nation. Anything we can do to reduce these costs is good for Oklahoma business and attracting new jobs. We encourage the governor to sign these bills.”
