OBJECTIVES

• Maintain the Oklahoma Technology Council (OTC) as the unified voice of the technology industry at the legislature, while initiating and lobbying for legislation that will facilitate the growth of advanced technology companies.
• Maintain a comprehensive database of advanced technology companies on the council's website (www.oktechcouncil.com) and encourage the creation of local technology councils.
• Utilize Tech-Night-Out receptions and industry-specific Tech Forums as means for networking and information exchange among advanced technology firms.
• Create awareness regarding the need to grow Oklahoma's technology industry.
• Conduct quarterly meetings of the OTC to educate and inform members while providing networking opportunities.  Pursue technology-related grants and identify collaborative research opportunities and funding sources for OTC members.
