The State Chamber worked from 1994 thru 1997 to save these incentives, and have continued to work and lobby since 2003 to get these incentives extended for additional years. In December 2006, the Tax Relief and Health Care Act of 2006 was passed and extended many important tax provisions including 45 A and 168 (j) that had expired at the end of 2005. We are talking about millions and millions of dollars that will stay in the bank accounts of Oklahoma businesses instead of being sent to the federal government.

We owe a debt of gratitude to our Congressional delegation, all of our members and contributors who have been involved and lobbied with us on these tax issues.
